LAURA GLUCK

I'm Laura Gluck, a Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades of experience in healthcare and a deep belief that medicine should be proactive, personalized, and rooted in partnership.

My career began as a registered nurse, where I spent years caring for patients in intensive care, surgical, and recovery settings. While I loved the science of medicine, I often found myself wanting more time to understand the bigger picture: how a person's lifestyle, family history, environment, and everyday choices shape their health over time.

That curiosity ultimately led me to become a Nurse Practitioner and dedicate my work to prevention-focused care.

Today, I help patients better understand their health in context. Together, we look beyond isolated symptoms and lab values to identify patterns, uncover opportunities, and create a personalized plan that supports both immediate goals and long-term well-being.

My approach blends evidence-based medicine with a deep appreciation for the realities of everyday life. I believe healthcare should feel collaborative, educational, and empowering, not rushed, reactive, or one-size-fits-all.

Whether you're navigating hormonal changes, optimizing your health, making sense of complex lab work, or simply looking for a trusted partner in your corner, my goal is to help you make informed decisions and feel confident about where you're headed.

Outside of the clinic, you'll usually find me in the garden, cooking for family and friends, traveling with my husband, lifting weights, or training for my next trail race. Staying active and investing in my own health isn't just part of my professional philosophy—it's a part of how I live my life.

I'm so glad you're here.

WHY BELLWETHER HEALTH?

Women are often the bellwethers of health within their families and communities. Their well-being influences not only their own lives, but the health and vitality of those around them. They are often the caregivers, advocates, planners, and decision-makers. When a woman's health suffers, the effects are felt far beyond the individual. And when a woman thrives, the ripple effects can strengthen families, workplaces, and entire communities.

That belief is at the heart of Bellwether Health.

Bellwether was built with a special focus on women and the unique transitions they experience throughout life, from adolescence and fertility to perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. Women's health is never just about hormones. It's about energy, strength, resilience, confidence, bone health, cardiovascular health, cognitive health, and the ability to show up fully for the life you want to live.

Because when women are supported, informed, and empowered in their health, the impact extends far beyond the individual.

But Bellwether Health is about more than women's health.

It's about a different approach to medicine.

Much of healthcare today is designed to respond once a problem has already developed. While that model is essential when illness occurs, it often leaves little room to understand the factors that influence health long before a diagnosis is made.

At Bellwether Health, we believe there is tremendous value in paying attention to the early signals.

The subtle changes in energy, mood, sleep, body composition, performance, hormones, or laboratory markers often tell a story long before disease appears. Rather than waiting for health concerns to become bigger problems, we focus on understanding those signals in the context of your personal history, family history, lifestyle, environment, and goals.

This is medicine that is proactive rather than reactive.

Medicine that takes the time to understand your unique story.

Medicine that recognizes that no two people are exactly alike, and that truly personalized care requires context.

Our goal is not simply to help you avoid disease. It's to help you build a foundation for a vibrant, capable, and resilient life, one that supports both where you are today and where you hope to be decades from now.

At Bellwether Health, we're not just looking at where your health is today. We're helping you understand the story your health is telling, where it may be headed, and what can be done today to shape a healthier future.

Why No Memberships for Men?

Bellwether Health was intentionally built around the unique and often underserved healthcare needs of women. From menstrual health and fertility to perimenopause, menopause, bone health, and cardiovascular risk, women frequently benefit from the longer-term partnership and continuity that the membership model provides.

For that reason, annual memberships are currently reserved for women.

That said, men deserve thoughtful, personalized healthcare too, and I'm always happy to support that journey through consultations and advanced health testing.

And if you found your way here because your wife, partner, sister, or mom suggested it... they're probably looking out for you. That's usually how this starts.
